Level 08 - Lesson 01

The scene assignment for Level 8 is a tea pouring scene in which you'll also (for the second time) add fire, water and steam to the scene. If you need a reminder on some of these effects, I suggest revisiting the past lessons, particularly the Level 6 Scene Assignment with the character extinguishing a flaming torch. As with previous scene assignments, below are video handouts and all the scene layouts can be found in this lesson's files directory

Import the image sequence into your software of choice with the appropriate layering.

The dimensions of your scene should be 960 x 540. The scene was animated at 30fps but feel free to work with your own preferred frame rate.

Note - the character animation is on 4s, and most of the kettle pouring is on 2s. This means that there are many frame duplicates (e.g. frames 1, 2, 3, 4 are essentially the same image), so if your software doesn't cope with a large import, you could remove the duplicates. I've only included them all here to save you the hassle of timing individual frames.
